You are a life saver!! Man, the strange idiosyncrasies of some programs!! I thought for sure there was a glitch on my computer or with the entire system. So strange! Thanks for the quick solution.
I have been trying to update my resume and was getting so frustrated in PS. Thank you so much for saving me time and frustration!!!
I love you! I couldn’t figure this out and you just saved my day. Thanks!
Thank you <3 I've had this happen before, but I could not for the life of me remember how I fixed it. Bookmarking this page to be sure!!
You just saved the day with this fix you posted years ago. Thanks!
I do not have an (apple) key so I used the command key instead and that worked. Thank you! I’ve been using all caps for 14months now, I can’t believe I didn’t search for the solution sooner!
Thanks! I don’t know what option this changed, but it worked!
Now I can finally stop freaking out … funny how Elements is the dumbed down version of PS yet you have to jump through hoops for such a simple operation.
Wow. its taken me about 40 minutes to get this answer. Si simple too. Thanks a lot! 🙂
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! After reading dozens of ‘fixes’; I found yours to be the only one that has actually worked.
Yes, it works… thank you.
Great fix, thank you so much! I was so confused as to why this was happening and how I could fix it–photoshop is so strange sometimes!
Oh my gosh, thank you so much! I was going nuts! I guess I have lots of company. You think Adobe will see this and fix it? I use PSE12.

Thank you for this. A post in the Adobe Photoshop Elements forum linked here. No other solution worked.
Thank you so much! I couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Your fix was so simple but not intuitive.
Great easy fix! Thank you.
Thank you! I was getting desperate and the help on the site didn’t do the trick!
Thank you! This was an easy fix…much easier than the other fixes that I tried (which didn’t work). I wrote it down for future use and bookmarked your site.
Worked! Thank you, I was going nuts trying to figure out why all of my text was upper-case even though caps lock was off!
